Appeals for the establishment of a new political unit of the Italian civil society
We are a group of citizens concerned about what is happening in the world and in our country .
The collapse of the global risk is a more tangible and close.
winds of war sweep the planet, backed by huge economic interests and ideologies distorted and thwarted by policies of peace increasingly weak. We
just entered a period of recession and serious global economic crisis, which will cause waves of mass layoffs worldwide.
As for our country, these global problems are exacerbated by a dramatic decline in cultural, moral, social and political.
mafia-type criminal organizations have now taken over a large chunk of our economy, and their intertwining with political and financial environments are more and more sprawling.
You are aggravating profound economic contradictions, they see the increasingly widening gap between a privileged elite and the rest of the population, more or less slowly slipping into poverty.
The waves of immigration, along with sincere expressions of solidarity, they're bringing out the worst feelings of the Italian population, fear the refusal open up to feelings of racism.
Faced with this situation, the politics, the place where it should be prepared responses to these issues, shows a desolate landscape. Freedom of expression is increasingly restricted by government policies and dangerously authoritarian behaviors, which pose major risks for the existence of a true democracy in Italy. The parliamentary opposition is ever more inadequate to address the seriousness of the situation.
Many citizens of our country united by sincere feelings and important democratic core values \u200b\u200bdo not feel adequately represented by any of the political forces in the field. It follows a major problem of democratic representation: a large proportion of the Italian population (about one third) is not represented, because it excluded from the electoral law or autoesclusa a turnout of protest. In particular, in addition to left-wing forces are not adequately represented also instances of the most important movements of recent years.
There is thus the need arises a New political force, putting an the principles of ecosystem protection, law, social justice, peace, the fight against poverty as a priority and promoters of policy options and specific guidance.
Why this new political force to be born must first define the ' identity, and secondly identify the path leading to his birth.
As for the 'identity , what should be the main features of this new political entity because it can respond appropriate to its mission?
1) must be born by taking pulse civil society, and not by the old parties. In Italy there are many organizations (associations, movements, parties, meetups ...) which, while different in their specificity, are united by a shared heritage of values \u200b\u200band a strong sense of civic . This wealth of experience, skills, intelligence and energy is an archipelago of small islands, which sit in if they knew a great continent, might be the real news, the only one able to make possible a breakthrough for our country. E 'must however be excluded from the so-called new political movements "antagonists" who have not repudiated the tools of violence and lawlessness;
2) should be deideologizzato is based on a healthy pragmatism, but supported by strong ideals and a strict code of ethics, it is it must build a political project that is aimed at the future and not to the past, and who can speak to the wider audience of citizens.
constitutive pathway
1) creation of a national promotion group, which arises from meeting the convergence of all parties and movements active popular the country who share manifest intent ; this group will include a number of competent staff and representative of the roots and ideals of the movement that will represent the new political force, and will hold the reins of the project all the constituent phase, avoiding possible distortions from the original idea that compromise the good outcome;
2) in parallel with the birth of the group proposing national broadcast across groups must come in close contact with the national team sponsor; for this purpose should be contacted through existing networks, all the associations, movements and civic lists potentially closer to the spirit of the project;
3) preparation of a draft program, starting with the guidelines set out above, both for the national plan for the room (where there are local groups) ;
4) thorough preparation and drafting of the contents of the program, involving leading experts in the various themes that are ready to work even without sharing the political project as a whole (economists, lawyers and labor lawyers, intellectuals, experts in environmental issues and energy, school and health ...)
5) study of how to participate Democratic supporters of all the process of constitution and life of the new political force;
6) publicity through all available channels (local and national) of the new political entity;
7) roots of the new political force throughout the national territory, through initiatives involving the virtuous energies of civil society in our country (forums, seminars, public meetings ...)
8) determination of any electoral alliances, calling for primaries for the nomination of candidates and presentation of the electoral roll.
It 'clear that the way to the birth of this new political force will be all uphill, and that it can not afford to have weaknesses. Therefore, you can pretend that it represents everything and everyone, that is "plural", but rather from the outset will give evidence instead of unity, credibility and authority. Similarly, at least in the first stage we can not afford the luxury of conducting battles largely unpopular: the latter, if considered just and unavoidable, should be postponed to a later stage in the eventual success of the new force on the political scene.
