Mini Nfl Helmets Vending

Write to the government for a clean energy revolution

Dear friends,
climate change is the most serious environmental threat, economic and humanitarian man is facing. In order to avoid irreversible climate crisis must stop the growth of greenhouse gas emissions by 2015 and halve 2050.

To reduce CO2 emissions is needed energy revolution based on the gradual reduction in the use of fossil fuels, starting from coal, and the development of truly clean alternatives: efficiency and renewables.

We urge the Government to:

1. introduce a moratorium on new coal plants
Coal is the base of the climate crisis as it is the first single source of global warming: about one third of global CO2 emissions are due to its combustion.

2. abandon the idea of \u200b\u200ba return to nuclear power in Italy
The nuclear technology is expensive and risky, that has not solved any of its problems: the risks of catastrophic waste management, nuclear proliferation to the limited resource of uranium.

3.By encouraging energy efficiency with the goal of 20 percent in 2020
In Italy you can cut electricity consumption by 100 billion kWh in 2020 (about one third of current consumption) and economic benefits of 65 billion euro. Efficiency is the cheapest energy source, clean and plentiful.

4. encourage the development of renewable sources as required by Europe
In the electricity sector renewables can provide 50 billion kWh in 2020. This will allow you to cut CO2 emissions by 25 million tons and save about 10 million tons of oil equivalents per year.
